Amy G. has a diverse work experience starting from their current position as an Application Developer at Zirous, where they focus on leveraging cutting-edge technologies to improve customers' business processes. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineering Peer Mentor at the Iowa State University Department of Software Engineering. Additionally, they gained valuable experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Parametric Studio Inc., where they worked on the Newton AR project to enhance the user interface and functionality of an educational app. Amy also served as a Peer Mentor at the Iowa State University Materials Engineering Department and gained industry experience as a Materials Engineering Co-Op at Collins Aerospace, where they contributed to process optimization, conducted galvanic potential analysis, and improved press fit assembly. Amy also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Material Science and Engineering Department, a Laboratory Technician at Terracon, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Iowa State University.
