Yiftach Dayan, PhD, is a data scientist with extensive experience in the fields of data science, machine learning, and computer vision. Currently employed at ZipRecruiter since April 2023, Yiftach previously held the position of Senior Data Scientist at Pagaya from April 2022 to March 2023. Yiftach's academic journey includes roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Leiden University and a Postdoctoral Fellow at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Prior experience also includes working as an Algorithms Developer at Trax Image Recognition for over seven years and serving as a lecturer and teaching assistant at Tel Aviv University. Educational qualifications include a PhD and MSc in Mathematics from Tel Aviv University, as well as a BSc in Mathematics and Physics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
