Marina Gandlin is an experienced data scientist currently working at ZipRecruiter as a Data Scientist in Recommendations since April 2023, where a job recommendation model was created for revenue optimization and a pipeline for large-scale datasets was built using OpenAI's tools. Previously, as Director of Data & Data Science at PayEm from January 2022 to February 2023, Marina established the data department, recruited team members, built the data warehouse, and supported various stakeholders with data modeling and business intelligence. Prior roles include Data Science Team Lead at Taboola, overseeing deep learning models, and positions in the Israeli Ministry of Defense and NASA Ames Research Center, contributing to system engineering and operational research efforts. Marina holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Math from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem's Talpiot Excellence Program.
