Luke Ekkizogloy has over 17 years of work experience in electrical engineering. Luke began their career in 2003 as an Electrical Engineer at Omnilux, where they built test fixtures and performed tests for free space optics communication nodes, wrote software to automate testing of the nodes, and designed and fabricated circuits to facilitate testing. In 2004, they moved to Finisar as an Electrical Engineer, where they worked in the IC development team to help design, build, and test FPGAs and ASICs used in a number of transceiver products. Luke also developed production firmware for over 30 products including FibreChannel, Sonet, and Ethernet transceivers running at speeds from OC-3 to 16 Gb/s. In 2007, they took a break from industry to pursue a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University. After graduating, they joined Google in 2014 as an Electrical Engineer, where they performed component selection, circuit design and board layout for numerous aircraft subcomponents, and created documentation and aided in the creation of design concepts for the aircraft. In 2015, they moved to Polyera Corporation as a Principal Electrical Engineer, where they completed architecture of the Wove Band system hardware and interfaced with a major ODM to prepare for mass production. In 2016, they joined Faraday Future as a System Architect, and in 2018, they took on the role of Head of Product Engineering at Arch Systems. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Zippin as a Senior Principal Engineer.
Luke Ekkizogloy received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Caltech between 1999 and 2003. Luke then went on to Stanford University to pursue a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, which they completed in 2011.
