Yizheng Liao is a software engineer at Zip, focusing on building end-to-end data systems and data-driven products since December 2021. Concurrently, Yizheng serves as a visiting scholar at both Arizona State University and Stanford University, engaging in energy and AI-related research. Prior experience includes a role as a staff machine learning engineer and full-stack data scientist at Airbnb, where Yizheng led the China monetization team and contributed to experimentation. Yizheng's academic background includes a PhD and a master's degree from Stanford University, as well as multiple degrees from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Throughout a career spanning various internships and assistantship roles, Yizheng has garnered substantial research experience, evidenced by over 15 publications and multiple awards, contributing to advancements in AI and infrastructure.
