Owen Young is an experienced economic development professional with a strong background in urban planning and project management. Currently serving as Economic Development Manager for the Town of Zionsville since January 2016, Owen has held various roles including Planner II, Project Manager, and Compliance Inspector, where responsibilities included optimizing permitting processes, analyzing development reports, and updating zoning codes. Prior experience includes the position of Planner at Hendricks County Planning & Building Department and Planner II at Pasco County Government, where Owen managed planning teams and facilitated community engagement. Owen's earlier roles encompassed warehouse management and manufacturing processes, alongside foundational planning internships. Owen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning and Development from Ball State University.
