Michael T. Dale, AICP has over 30 years of experience in urban planning and community development. Michael T. is currently serving as the Director of Community & Economic Development for the Town of Zionsville. Prior to their current role, they worked as the Executive Director for the Hancock County Area Plan Commission for 20 years, where they led various planning initiatives, facilitated coordination with stakeholders, reviewed and analyzed construction proposals, and served as a presenter and negotiator. Before that, they served as the Principal Planner for the Allen County Department of Planning Services, where they focused on zoning administration and floodplain management. Michael T. was responsible for enforcing county development codes, achieving flood insurance premium reductions, and handling zoning violation cases. At the start of their career, they worked as an Associate Planner for the City of Sacramento Planning Department, where they played a key role in analyzing environmental impacts, designing subdivisions, managing contracts, and writing zoning code amendments.

Michael T. Dale, AICP has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning from the University of California, Davis. Prior to that, they studied Biological Science at West Valley College and obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree. In addition to their educational background, Michael T. Dale has also obtained certification as an AICP (American Institute of Certified Planners) in July 2000.
