Joshua Minsley is an experienced education professional currently serving as the Assistant Principal at Zion Elementary School District 6 since August 2022. Prior roles include Assistant Principal at Lake Zurich CUSD 95 from July 2017 to August 2022 and Director of Assessment, Policy & Programs at the same district. Joshua also has extensive teaching experience, having worked as an 8th Grade Math Teacher and District Math Coordinator at Avoca School District from August 2009 to June 2017, and as a High School Math Teacher at Mundelein High School District 120 during the 2008-2009 academic year. Joshua’s career began at the Math and Science Academy, where Joshua was a math teacher and department chair from June 1999 to June 2008. Joshua holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership with Principal Endorsement from Northeastern Illinois University, a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University-River Forest, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Michigan State University.
