Ruzzel Ocampo has worked in a variety of roles since 1999. Ruzzel began their career as a Human Resources Manager for Bergamo, Inc. in 1999. In 2004, they became a Senior Area Sales Manager for Cole Haan. In 2013, they worked as a Store Manager for Puregold Price Club, Inc. where they were responsible for recruiting, selecting, and training employees, as well as coaching, counseling, and disciplining them. In 2016, they worked as a Human Resources Manager for BAPCI. In 2018, they were a Qualitative Research Manager and Head of Account Management for Zintro. In 2019, they were a Business Development Manager for CleanerOffices Inc., a Project Manager for The Ad Masters, and a Sales Manager for CleanMed CBD.

Ruzzel Ocampo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from De La Salle University between 1992 and 1997.
