Eric Mattelson is an accomplished Chief Actuary with extensive experience in actuarial and healthcare economics. Currently leading a team at Zing Health since September 2020, Eric provides strategic financial insights across a diverse health plan portfolio, including Managed Medicaid and Medicare Advantage. Prior roles include Chief Actuary at Johns Hopkins HealthCare, Senior Consulting Actuary at Willis Towers Watson, and Senior Director of Actuarial Services at Evolent Health, among others. Eric excels in financial modeling, risk analysis, and the development of value-based strategies, significantly influencing healthcare initiatives and organizational performance. Eric holds a B.A. in Economics and Music from Amherst College.
