Vanessa Bruce is a seasoned Payroll Manager with extensive experience in payroll processing across various industries. At ZIM Integrated Shipping since 2006, Vanessa manages multi-state payroll for over 500 employees and played a key role in implementing the ADP Enterprise eTIME system. Prior experience includes positions as Payroll Administrator for the City of Suffolk, where oversight of payroll for 1,307 full-time employees was a significant responsibility, and as Payroll Supervisor at both Amerigroup Corporation, where an outsourcing to in-house transition was successfully executed, and Sentara Healthcare, where supervision of payroll specialists and the setup of payroll services for multiple facilities were key achievements. Vanessa is currently pursuing a BA in Sociology at Norfolk State University and holds an Associate of Arts degree from Tidewater Community College.
