Shahar Gigi possesses extensive experience in data science and machine learning, currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at ZIM Integrated Shipping Services since November 2020, focusing on quantitative prediction and analysis using advanced machine and deep learning techniques. Prior to this, Shahar worked as a Machine Learning Specialist at Shibumi.AI, specializing in computer vision and real-time performance optimization, and as a Deep Learning Researcher at Samsung NEXT. Earlier roles included Project Manager and System Engineer at MSE - Monitoring Systems Engineering Ltd. and Algorithm Engineer at Skew-Algo. Shahar also has experience in organizing academic events during a tenure as Event Organizer at Physics@Technion. Educational credentials include studies at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2012.
