Miguel Brand is an experienced academic and consultant with a strong focus on sustainable procurement, supply chain management, and business transformation. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at VIA University College, Miguel lectures on topics such as Purchasing & Sourcing and Circular Economy. As the Director of LEDGE Consulting, Miguel aids organizations in enhancing competitiveness and implementing sustainable practices. Miguel also holds the role of SPP Ambassador and Co-Chair of the SPP Denmark Chapter, promoting sustainability in procurement. Previous roles include Full Value Chain Lead at Vestas, where Miguel spearheaded significant procurement reorganization, and various management and engineering positions across multiple companies, demonstrating a robust background in strategic sourcing and operations optimization. Miguel's academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Sustainable Architecture and Energy Efficiency, complemented by degrees in European Enterprise Management and Civil Engineering with Architecture.
