Mary Carmen Ramirez Diaz has a diverse and extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Mary Carmen began their career in 1998 as a Team Leader Inplants at American Express Co., where they were responsible for managing the operation of 10 inplants and a team of 30 employees. Mary Carmen achieved a 20% increase in profit and maintained a high level of satisfaction among their direct reports.

In 2004, Mary became a Sales Manager at Aramark México S.A. de C.V., where they participated in public and private biddings for food/beverage service and retail units. Mary Carmen successfully developed and improved new client relationships and helped improve brand positioning in the national and international market.

From 2005 to 2009, Mary worked at Carlsonwagonlit Travel as a Local Account Manager. Mary Carmen excelled in developing and maintaining client relations for key accounts such as JPMorgan, Kraft, and Adidas. Mary Carmen also implemented new accounts and provided training to travelers and travel arrangers on cost reductions and agreements. Mary achieved a 100% client retention level.

Mary ensured the centers provided high-quality service through effective statistics management.

In 2009, Mary switched to Manpower as a Corporate Account Operation Manager. Mary Carmen achieved impressive results, including a 137% increase in sales and a 152% increase in profits compared to the budget. Mary also negotiated new agreements with top clients and improved client relations for key accounts.

Mary returned to the travel industry in 2011 and worked at BCD Travel as the Head of Account Management. Mary Carmen held this position until 2015, focusing on managing accounts and ensuring client satisfaction.

From 2016 to 2018, Mary joined American Express Global Business Travel as a Regional Strategic Account Manager Latam, where they managed strategic accounts in Latin America.

Currently, Mary holds two roles at BCD Meetings & Events. Since 2018, they have been the Business Development Senior Manager Latam, and since 2021, they have taken on additional responsibilities as the Business Development & Account Management Latam Director.
