Stefan Weiland is an experienced professional in the field of mechanical engineering, currently serving as Senior Manager Simulation at ZF Group since July 2012, with prior roles including Senior Manager System Simulation / XiL Infrastructure (interim), Manager CAE, and Team Lead CAE. Before joining ZF Group, Stefan Weiland worked at TRW Automotive as Project Engineer CAE from July 2008 to June 2012. Earlier experience includes serving as a Researcher in Durability & CAE and Deputy Head of Department CAE at Fraunhofer-Institut für Betriebsfestigkeit und Systemzuverlässigkeit LBF from June 2002 to June 2008. Stefan Weiland holds a Dr.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt and a Dipl.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, where education was completed between 1997 and 2002.
