Pedro Furió Tarà has extensive work experience in the field of genomics and software development. Pedro started their career as a software developer at Hidrogaia, S.L. in 2011. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a PhD student at the Genomics of Gene Expression lab at Centro de Investigación PrÃncipe Felipe (CIPF). Pedro continued their PhD studies at the same lab from 2012 to 2015. During this time, they also had the opportunity to work as a visiting PhD student at the University of Cambridge in 2015 and at the European Bioinformatics Institute | EMBL-EBI in 2014. In 2015, they joined the University of Florida as a visiting PhD student. From 2016 to 2020, they worked as a full stack developer at Genomics England. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Software Engineer at Zetta Genomics Cambridge since July 2020.
Pedro Furió Tarà pursued their education at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). From 2005 to 2010, they obtained an Engineer's degree in Computer Engineering. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biomedical Engineering from 2010 to 2012 at the same university.
