Joost van Bennekom is an experienced engineering and project management professional, currently serving as Engineering Manager at Zeton since October 2024, overseeing Lab Scale Systems and Pilot Plants projects across various industries. Previously, Joost held the position of Sr. Project Manager at NX Filtration from May 2022 to October 2024, focusing on a factory project in Hengelo. Throughout a lengthy tenure at Zeton from November 2012 to May 2022, Joost progressed from Project Manager to Sr. Process Engineer, Lead Process Engineer, and Process Engineer, gaining extensive expertise in pilot plant design and process development. Academic credentials include a PhD from the University of Groningen, where Joost researched green methanol production, and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Twente.
