Raina Thomas has held various roles in the technology industry since 2004. Raina started their career as a Software Developer at Easylib Software Private Limited in 2004. Raina then moved on to become a Team Leader at HSBC Global Technology in Pune in 2005. In 2013, they joined Accenture as an Associate Project Manager. In 2015, they worked as an Application Delivery Manager at Barclays Technology Centre. In 2016, they became a Project Manager - Communication Surveillance (Compliance) at Deutsche Bank. In 2019, they worked as a Manager at Deloitte Australia, and in 2020 they joined Certus Solutions Limited as a Data/Solution Architect. In 2021, they began working at Zetaris - The Networked Data Platform as VP Architecture & Governance and Enterprise Architect.

Raina Thomas completed their Bachelor of Technology (ECE) in Telecommunications Engineering at Cochin University of Science and Technology from 2000 to 2004. Raina also attended Modern High School from 1985 to 2000 and obtained their HSC in Computer Science. Additionally, Raina Thomas has obtained a number of certifications in their professional career, including a Certified Data Vault 2.0 Practitioner from Data Vault Alliance in July 2020, a Dremio for Data Consumers from Dremio in May 2019, an ITIL certificate in IT Service Operations from PeopleCert in August 2017, a PRINCE2 Practitioner in Project Management from PeopleCert in June 2018, a Python Data Structure from the University of Michigan on Coursera, a Python for Everybody from the University of Michigan by Coursera, and a Using Python to Access Web Data from the University of Michigan.
