Walter Luceno, CPA, has a strong background and extensive experience in accounting and finance. Walter has held various leadership roles in different companies over the years.

From 2019 to the present, Walter has served as the Senior Director of Accounting at Zest AI. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2018, they worked at Wasserman as the Director of Accounting, where they were responsible for financial statement reporting, revenue forecasting, and leading the annual external audit.

Before Wasserman, Walter worked at eHarmony from 2010 to 2013, first as an Accounting Manager and then as a Senior Financial Accountant. In these roles, they managed financial consolidations, coordinated system upgrades, and reported marketing costs and cash balances.

At SmartAction, Walter served as Director of Accounting from 2018 to 2019. During their tenure, they streamlined processes, shortened the month-end close process, and implemented equity platform compliance.

Walter started their career at Deloitte, where they worked as an Audit Associate from 2007 to 2009 and as an Audit Senior from 2009 to 2010. Walter specialized in the Technology, Media, & Telecommunications (TMT) practice and led audit teams and managed engagement economics.

Walter Luceno, CPA attended Loyola Marymount University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance. Walter also completed a minor in Economics. In 2009, they obtained their certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the State of California.
