Sean Kerwin has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Sean is currently the Principal Software Engineer at Zest AI since May 2020. Prior to this, they held the role of Principal Engineer at Bird from March 2019 to April 2020, where they also worked as a Backend Engineer - Platform from May 2018 to April 2020. Before Bird, Sean worked at Hyperloop One as a Senior Software Architect from December 2016 to May 2018. Prior to that, they worked at SpaceX as a Software Architect from May 2015 to November 2016, and as an Applications Developer from July 2012 to May 2015. Sean also worked at INgage Networks as a Web Architect from September 2008 to March 2011, at Neighborhood America as a Senior Web Software Developer from May 2006 to September 2008, and at SmartDisk as a Senior Mac Developer from 2001 to 2003.

Sean Kerwin attended Florida Gulf Coast University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science.
