Alistair Oldbury started their work experience as an Apprentice Software Support & Development Specialist at Atos in September 2017 and worked in that role until January 2020. During this time, they also held the positions of Application Specialist from July 2019 to January 2020, and Software Developer from January 2020 to July 2021.

After leaving Atos, Alistair joined FIBR as a Junior Full Stack Engineer from July 2021 to July 2022. Following that, they worked at Drone Defence as a Software Developer from July 2022 to June 2023. Currently, they are employed as a Software Developer at Zest starting in July 2023.

Alistair Oldbury attended Tuxford Academy from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained their A Level in Computer Science. In November 2022, they also obtained the Triplebyte Certified certification from Triplebyte.
