Neil Reilly has extensive work experience in the technology field. Neil is currently serving as the Director of Technology at Zero Deposit since September 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Engineering at Zero Deposit from July 2021 to September 2022. Before joining Zero Deposit, Neil worked at uMed as the Head of Engineering from March 2021 to June 2021, and as a Principal Engineer from November 2020 to March 2021. Neil also worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Sainsbury's from November 2019 to October 2020. Neil's previous roles include Tech Lead at Arachnys from March 2019 to November 2019, Lead Backend Engineer at Hopster from July 2014 to March 2019, Software Developer at SSE Labs from August 2012 to July 2014, and Senior Software Engineer at BT from October 2008 to August 2012. Neil also served as a Waste Manager at UKAEA in 2006 and as a Lead Independent Inspector at UKAEA in Dounreay from 2002 to 2006, and at UKAEA in Winfrith from 2001 to 2002.

Neil Reilly's education history begins in 1982 when they attended Grange Grammar School in Hartford. However, no degree or field of study is specified during their time there. In 1989, they enrolled at The University of Sheffield and pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics, which they completed in 1993. Continuing their education, Neil then attended the University of Sussex from 1995 to 1997 and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Radiation and Environmental Protection. Finally, in 2007, they attended the University of York and earned another Master of Science (MSc) degree, this time in Natural Computation, completing it in 2008.
