Michał Maik is an experienced quantitative analyst and data scientist currently employed at OANDA since February 2024, previously holding positions at OANDA from June 2020 to June 2022. Michał co-founded Zerapy and serves as Chief Research Officer, focusing on developing a smart physical therapy assistant through machine learning and computer vision techniques. Prior work experience includes roles as a deep learning engineer at NAUTO, a computer vision engineer at Avalanche, and an AI specialist at Fideltronik Poland, among others. Michał holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from Jagiellonian University and has a strong academic background with additional degrees from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
