Washington Alves has gained extensive work experience in the field of information technology security. Washington is currently working as a Senior Information Technology Security Analyst at ZENVIA since September 2022. Before that, they worked at Sabin Medicina Diagnóstica from October 2018 to September 2022, where they were responsible for designing and structuring the infrastructure and security environment, implementing information security policies and guidelines, and working with various security tools such as PaloAlto, F5, Kaspersky, Cisco ASA, and Cisco architectural network level. Prior to Sabin Medicina Diagnóstica, they worked as an Information Security Analyst at Sicoob Confederação from May 2014 to October 2018. Washington'sresponsibilities included ensuring information security within the organization. Washington also worked as an Infrastructure Analyst at TELEBRAS S.A. from March 2013 to April 2014.

Washington Alves has a strong educational background in the field of information security and systems management.

Washington completed their postgraduate studies in Information Security from Universidade Estácio de Sá from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a bachelor's degree in Systems Information Management from Estácio between 2012 and 2016.

In 2013, Washington also received a certification as a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) after completing a program from Cisco. This certification demonstrates their expertise as a network analyst.

Washington has further enhanced their qualifications by obtaining additional certifications. In September 2017, they obtained the Network Security Associate (NSE 1) certification from Fortinet. Furthermore, they achieved the ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Associate certification from SkillFront in March 2021. Lastly, they also hold the CyberSecurity Foundation Professional Certificate from CertiProf, which they obtained in December 2020.
