Mattias Strid is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in the automotive and aerospace industries. Currently employed at Zenseact since November 2021, Mattias focuses on developing a driver monitoring and understanding system designed to enhance driver safety in next-generation vehicles. Prior roles include working as an embedded software engineer at RUAG Space and as a software application developer at Jeppesen, a Boeing Company. Additionally, Mattias completed a master thesis at Volvo Cars, where the focus was on clustering sensor data and error probability estimation for various driving scenarios. Educational qualifications include Master of Science degrees in Systems, Control and Mechatronics from Chalmers University of Technology and Tecnológico de Monterrey, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from Chalmers University of Technology.
