Temesgen Berhanu's work experience includes roles at multiple companies. Temesgen started working at Addis Abeba Micro and Small Enterprise in September 2017 as a Website Administrator until January 2018. In January 2018, they moved to Ethiopian intellectual property office as a Network Administrator and worked there until May 2018. From May 2018, they joined Zemen Bank S.C. as an IT Officer. Temesgen then progressed to the role of System Engineer III in July 2021 and currently holds the position of Senior Datacenter and Cloud Management Officer since February 2023.

Temesgen Berhanu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Wolkite University from 2014 to 2017. In addition to their degree, they have also earned several certifications including Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate from Microsoft in January 2023, VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2022 from VMware in August 2022, Introduction to CyberArk Privileged Access Management from CyberArk in May 2022, Level 1: Trustee Exam from CyberArk in May 2022, NSE-1 Network Security Associate from Fortinet in February 2020, and NSE-2 Network Security Associate from Fortinet in February 2020.
