Margherita Boieri has worked in various research positions throughout their career. Margherita began as a Researcher at the Università di Pisa in 2010 and later moved on to become a Researcher at azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria Careggi Firenze from 2011 to 2013. Margherita then worked as a PHD Candidate and Research Assistant at the University of Oslo from 2013 to 2017. Following that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Massachusetts General Hospital from 2017 to 2021. Currently, Margherita Boieri is employed at Zelluna Immunotherapy, where they initially served as a Research Scientist from 2021 to 2023 and now holds the position of Senior Scientist.

Margherita Boieri completed their Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology at the Università degli Studi di Torino from 2004 to 2008. Margherita then pursued a Master's Degree in Biotechnology at the Università degli Studi di Firenze from 2008 to 2010. Continuing their academic journey, Margherita Boieri attained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Immunology from the University of Oslo (UiO) between 2013 and 2017.
