Maureen O'Connor serves as the Acting Executive Director for Carolina Angel Network since July 2024 and has been the Chief Executive Officer of ZealCare since August 2020, focusing on enhancing health outcomes for individuals with complex chronic conditions. In addition to these roles, Maureen O'Connor is the Board Chair of APIE Therapeutics, which develops therapeutic drugs for vascular-related diseases, and a Board Member of Carolina Angel Network, which supports UNC-affiliated entrepreneurs. Maureen O'Connor also acts as a Venture Partner at SpringTide Ventures and has held advisory positions at Aphora Health and Solera Health. Previously, Maureen O'Connor was an Independent Director at Roobrik and a member of the Healthcare Innovation Leaders Alliance at Oliver Wyman. Maureen O'Connor founded Moxie Health Advisors, LLC to provide advisory services in healthcare technology. Educational qualifications include a BA in English from the College of the Holy Cross and a JD cum laude from Suffolk University Law School.
