Jim Schweigert has extensive experience in the seed production and agricultural marketing industry, currently serving as a Board Advisor at ZeaKal, Inc. since February 2021 and as a Partner at CIS Alliance since March 2018, where expertise in seed nursery services is offered through a collaboration between Chile-based CIS Semillas and US-based Gro Alliance. As President of Gro Alliance since October 2003, Jim leads a team in various seed production endeavors across multiple states, specializing in GMOs, non-GMOs, organic, and custom breeding projects. Previous roles include Vice President of Business Development and Client Operations Manager at Gro Alliance, as well as Account Manager at Golin, where Jim promoted USA-grown peanuts. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Seed Technology and Business from Iowa State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from the University of Minnesota.
