Marco Autiero has a diverse range of work experience in the energy industry and research field. In 2018, they completed an engineering internship at Laboratoire des matériaux avancés (LMA) CNRS, where they focused on characterizing optical flatness of mirrors for gravitational wave detectors. Marco successfully designed and built a Fizeau interferometer and presented the results.
In 2020, Marco worked as part of the 3Degrees summer climate series at 3Degrees Group, Inc. This role allowed him to gain insight into climate-related projects and contribute to sustainability initiatives.
In 2021, Marco completed a final year internship at GEG - Gaz Electricité de Grenoble, where they primarily focused on the performance optimization of hydroelectric powerplants. Marco analyzed production data, developed processes to identify efficiency losses, and defined new Key Performance Indicators.
Currently, Marco Autiero is working at ZE ENERGY as an energy market analyst, starting in November 2021.
Marco Autiero attended Lycée Notre Dame de Mongré in Villefranche sur Saône from 2013 to 2016, where they obtained their Baccalauréat in the field of Bac scientifique. After completing high school, they pursued their education at La Prépa des INP from 2016 to 2018, focusing on Mathematics and Physics. In 2018, Marco enrolled at Grenoble INP - Ense3 and obtained their Diplôme d'ingénieur in Energy systems and associated markets in 2021. Additionally, Marco has a certification in BULATS from the University of Cambridge, although the specific month and year of obtaining it are unknown.
