Megan Bales Connor has a diverse work experience. Megan worked at Zap Consulting from 2018 to present, starting as a Report Analyst and progressing to the positions of Report Analyst II, Report Analyst Lead, Assistant Manager, and currently, Director of Client Services. Prior to that, in 2017, they briefly worked as an AmeriCorps VISTA-Project Development at Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln County. In the same year, they also held an internship as a Logistics Intern at WAMY Community Action Inc., where they worked on designing a program to help former criminal offenders improve their economic and social standing. Megan's earliest work experience was as a Student at Appalachian State University from 2013 to 2017, during which they served as a Student Coordinator for Sustained Dialogue. Megan also conducted research on the effects of NC abortion regulations on rural, low-income women and gave guest lectures on recidivism and the reintegration process for former criminal offenders. Throughout their career, Megan has demonstrated a commitment to social issues and a drive to make a positive impact.
Megan Bales Connor obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Appalachian State University. Megan studied in this institution from 2013 to 2017.
