Raymond M. has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the field of human resources. Raymond is currently serving as the Chief People & Culture Officer at Zamara Kenya, where they oversee the people agenda across their offices in Africa. Prior to this, Raymond was the Head of People & Culture at Anjarwalla & Khanna | ALN for four years. Raymond also held the position of Interim Head of Human Resources at Gatsby Charitable Foundation, where they set up the HR function for an East Africa organization. Raymond's earlier experience includes serving as the Head of Human Resources and Regional Talent Manager at KPMG East Africa, where they played a pivotal role in driving the people agenda and talent management. Before venturing into the HR field, Raymond founded Mirays Ltd, a Kenyan start-up involved in the production of remote control covers in East Africa.
Raymond M. completed their Executive Education in the PEOPLE Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2017. Prior to that, they received a certification as a Certified Global Mobility Professional (GMP) from KPMG Business School in 2014. In 2010, they attended the Africa Facilitators Accreditation Programme at KPMG Business School and became a Trained Trainer. Raymond M. holds a Post Grad-Higher Diploma in Human Resources from the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM), which they obtained between 2003 and 2005. Raymond also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Nairobi, which they earned from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, Raymond M. obtained a certification as a Certified Human Resources Practitioner from the Institute of Human Resources Management - Kenya in 2004.
