Ingo Weinzierl is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in software engineering and payment processing. Currently serving as Director of Technology and Head of Engineering at Zalando since November 2012, Ingo leads a software engineering department that focuses on payments checkouts and the integration of payment methods across all of Zalando's online shops. Prior roles at Zalando include Engineering Lead Payments and Delivery Lead Payment, where Ingo guided teams toward autonomy and excellence in software product delivery. Ingo started the career at Intevation GmbH as a Software Developer and later advanced to roles such as Project Leader and Software Engineer between October 2008 and October 2012. Ingo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Computer Science from Hochschule Osnabrück, with prior studies at RWTH Aachen University.
