Harry Woldt has had a long and varied career in the media industry. Harry started as an Automotive Staff Manager at the Chicago Tribune Newspaper in 1970 and then transitioned to become a National Advertising Sales Representative for the same company. In this role, they called on advertising agencies and national advertisers in various industries. Harry worked in this position until 1974.
Woldt then took on the role of Circulation Manager at the Chicago Tribune Newspaper in 1975, where they remained until 1979.

Woldt's next career move took him to The New York Times in 1994, where they served as the Director of Circulation Sales and later as the Vice President of Circulation Marketing. Harry remained at The New York Times until 1998.
From 2001 to 2004, Woldt worked at the San Jose Mercury News as the Vice President of Circulation.
In 2007, Woldt joined the Los Angeles Newspaper Group as the Vice President of Circulation. Harry held this position until 2009, when they moved on to the San Diego Union Tribune. At the San Diego Union Tribune, Woldt served as the Vice President of Circulation, Operations, and Distribution from 2009 to 2015.
Woldt's most recent position was at ACI Media Group, where they worked as the Senior Vice President of National Operations. Harry held this role from 2015 to 2017.
Woldt's current position is as the VP Operations at Z-Tronix Inc, where they have been working since 2017.
Harry Woldt attended Arizona State University from 1965 to 1966, but it is unknown whether they obtained a degree or pursued any particular field of study during that time. From 1966 to 1969, they attended Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs.
