Jose F. Oliva currently serves as Chief of Staff and previously held the Deputy Chief of Staff position at Guilford County Schools since September 2021. In addition to this role, Jose Oliva is a member of the Board of Trustees at the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation and serves on the Board of Directors for Self-Help Credit Union and the NC Conservation Network. As of September 2023, Jose Oliva is also part of the Strategic Council for EducationNC. Earlier positions include a Policy Fellow at The Hunt Institute and multiple board roles, including at the North Carolina Justice Center and The Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro. Jose F. Oliva's previous professional experience includes serving as Director of Public Policy and Social Impact at Replacements, Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Affairs from the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Economics from Guilford College.
