Jennifer Nobbs, CPA, CGMA has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Jennifer worked as the Vice President of Finance at Yves Delorme, Inc. from February 2014 to present, where they were responsible for preparing financial statements, coordinating the company budget, and overseeing month-end closing procedures. Prior to this role, they served as the Controller at the same company from February 2008 to February 2014. Their responsibilities included month-end closing procedures, preparing business registrations and filings, and maintaining fixed asset and CIP schedules. Before joining Yves Delorme, Inc., Jennifer worked as a Supervisory Senior Accountant at Yount, Hyde & Barbour, PC from 2005 to 2008. Jennifer was responsible for compiling, reviewing, and auditing financial statements, as well as preparing tax returns and account reconciliations. Jennifer also has experience working as a Finance Specialist at the University of Virginia Health System from 2003 to 2005, where they prepared journal entries, processed transactions, and managed donated funds. Prior to this, they worked as a Staff Accountant at The Nature Conservancy in 2002, where their responsibilities included preparing tax returns, financial statements, and budget input. Jennifer's earliest work experience was as an Accountant at Medical Business Administration from 1999 to 2001, where they performed standard accounting functions, managed payroll, and filed payroll and sales taxes.
Jennifer Nobbs, CPA, CGMA obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Management with a focus on Accounting from Shepherd University from 1998-2002. Jennifer is also a Certified Public Accountant.
