Karim Hassan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the food and beverage industry, currently serving as Co-founder and Deputy CEO at YUMGO since April 2023. Prior to this role, Karim was the CEO of Optimys | UVBIO from September 2019 to March 2023, leading a startup that encompassed four organic brands and overseeing budgeting, team structuring, and logistics. From November 2015 to September 2019, Karim held the position of Export Director at Good Goût, a French scale-up specializing in organic baby and kid food, where contributions included strategic board membership. Earlier experience includes serving as Business Development Director at Délice Danone, managing dairy markets in Tunisia and Libya, as well as roles within Danone Dairy, culminating in regional management for key accounts. Karim holds a Master's degree in Genetics from Pierre and Marie Curie University, obtained between 1993 and 1998.
