Jason McDaniel

Executive Director & CIO, Technology & Information Services at Yukon Public Schools

Jason McDaniel, PMP has over 17 years of experience in various leadership and managerial roles. Jason currently serves as the Chief Information & Technology Officer at Yukon Public Schools, where they provide vision and leadership in district operations, project management, and IT services. Previously, they held the position of Director of Information Technology at the same organization.

Before joining Yukon Public Schools, Jason worked at the University of Oklahoma, where they served as a Project & Program Manager, an Adjunct Instructor in the College of Arts & Sciences, an IT Service Desk Manager, and a Supervisor for Athletic Information Systems.

Jason also gained experience as a Project & Customer Experience Manager at United Systems, Inc. and as an Advanced Applications Developer at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. in addition to serving as an Adjunct Instructor at the Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma.

Throughout their career, Jason has successfully completed numerous projects on time, within scope, and on budget. Jason has extensive experience in project management, staff supervision, budgeting, and strategic planning. Jason holds a PMP certification and is committed to optimizing efficiency and innovation in all areas of their work.

Jason McDaniel, PMP has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management Information Systems and Mathematics from the University of Oklahoma - Price College of Business, which they obtained from 1999 to 2004. Jason also holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Administrative Leadership from the University of Oklahoma, which they completed from 2006 to 2009. In addition, Jason McDaniel, PMP has the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in October 2008. Jason has also obtained various additional certifications, including Level 4: Clever Champion from Clever Inc. in July 2019, FEMA NIMS - National Incident Management System from FEMA in May 2019, and OK-FIRST | Oklahoma's First-response Information Resource System using Telecommunications from the National Weather Center in March 2017.
