Angelien Moonen is a highly experienced mental health professional currently serving as a supervisor and therapist in Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT) at MBT Nederland since July 2017. Additionally, Angelien has been a Supervisor of Psychotherapy with the NVP-Nederlandse Vereniging voor Psychotherapie since July 2020 and a psychiatrist and psychotherapist at Youz since January 2020, where services are provided to children and young adults with various psychological issues. With a robust teaching background, Angelien is involved as a lecturer for the national education of the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Psychiatrie and at RINO Zuid, where MBT modules are taught to clinical psychologists, psychotherapists, and psychiatrists in training. Previous experience includes positions at U-Center, Virenze Riagg, GGzE, Elkerliek ziekenhuis, and Academisch Ziekenhuis Maastricht. Education includes degrees in medicine and psychiatry, along with specialized training in various therapeutic modalities and supervision.
