Jack Powers is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in youth advocacy and nonprofit management. Currently serving as the Director of Community Outreach at Youth Justice Network since September 2019, Jack leads initiatives to support justice-involved youth in New York City while fostering partnerships and securing funding. As a Co-Founder of the Lens on Life Project, Jack promotes photography and computer literacy training for at-risk youth globally. Additional roles include Associate Instructor at Columbia University and former Disaster Action Team Lead for the American Red Cross in Greater New York. Jack's previous experience also includes directing operations for Boys Hope Girls Hope of New York, where a focus on student success facilitated numerous college acceptances. Jack holds a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theory and Composition from Washington and Lee University.
