Amanda Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning across different roles and industries. Amanda is currently working as a Product Manager at YouScience, starting in November 2021. Prior to this, Amanda worked as a Student Mentor at Carnegie Mellon University, starting in January 2021.

A significant portion of their career was spent at WGU Labs, where they held various positions. Amanda started as a Learning Experience Designer in October 2017 and was later promoted to Senior Learning Experience Designer in October 2018. From September 2019 to February 2021, they served as a Design Manager, leading the design team at the non-profit innovation lab.
