John Edwards is an experienced professional in family support and mental health services management. Currently serving as the Family Support Services Manager for South East Queensland at yourtown since March 2022, John previously held multiple leadership roles at Wellways Australia from January 2015 to March 2022, including General Manager for Queensland, where accountability encompassed the delivery of integrated mental health and disability services, operational management, advocacy, and quality processes. Earlier roles included Executive Manager Services and Manager of Business Development, focusing on innovative service delivery and business growth in Queensland. Additionally, John led innovative mental health and disability services in Tasmania as Regional Manager and managed statewide mental health programs at Mental Illness Fellowship Victoria from January 2012 to January 2015.
