Makenzie Stafford, CPA, is an accounting professional with extensive experience in various roles within the finance sector. Currently serving as an Associate at Your Part-Time Controller, LLC since December 2024, Stafford previously held the position of Enterprise Accounting Financial Director for the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa from May 2023 to December 2024. Prior roles include Accountant for Carlton County, MN from February 2020 to May 2023, and Senior Accountant at Wipfli LLP from August 2015 to January 2020. Stafford began the professional journey as a Basketball Referee for Cloquet Public Schools and Manager/Projectionist at Premiere Theatres while gaining accounting experience as an Intern at Wipfli LLP and working at Cloquet Country Club. Education was obtained from the University of Minnesota Duluth, where a Bachelor of Accounting degree was earned.
