Nick Spicer FRGS has a diverse and extensive work experience. Nick is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Your Eco, a position they have held since July 2016. In March 2022, they co-founded Sustainable Pathways Consulting. Prior to this, in February 2020, they co-founded Reduce Our Carbon Charitable Foundation. Nick also has experience as a Renewable Energy & Sustainability Consultant at Team Rubicon from June 2015 to May 2020.

Before entering the sustainability field, Nick worked in the renewable energy sector as an Operations Manager from July 2011 to July 2016. Nick also served as a Commercial Manager at MJ Church Ltd from July 2010 to July 2011. Beginning their professional journey, Nick started their career in the British Army as a Company Commander from September 2002 to June 2010.

Nick Spicer FRGS has a diverse education history. In 2002, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Geography at the University of Leeds. Following this, in 2006, they obtained a Leadership & Management certification (LCGI) from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. In 2015, they pursued further education at the University of Gloucestershire and obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Personal & Professional Practice with a focus on Leading Business. Prior to their university education, Nick Spicer FRGS attended The Royal Grammar School in High Wycombe from 1996 to 2002, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period. In addition to their formal education, Nick Spicer FRGS has obtained various certifications, including becoming a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society in April 2020, receiving the IOSH Directing Safely certification in May 2014, achieving the PRINCE2 Project Management Practitioner certification in May 2010, obtaining another LCGI certification from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in December 2006, and becoming a PADI Rescue Diver in July 2005.
