Olivia Sweet

Freelance Educator at American Folk Art Museum

Olivia Sweet is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in arts education and museum programming. Currently serving as an Associate Teacher at Brooklyn Friends School since August 2020, Olivia also holds multiple roles at renowned institutions including the Guggenheim Museum as a Youth Educator, the New-York Historical Society as a Family Programs Educator, and The Museum of Modern Art as a Family Programs Lead Educator. Olivia has developed and delivered engaging, inquiry-based tours and workshops for diverse age groups and communities. Previous positions include work as a graduate student teacher at Harvard Art Museums and roles in program coordination at Stories Bookshop and Storytelling Lab. Olivia Sweet holds a Master of Education in Arts in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor's degree in English and Art History from William & Mary.
