Julia Owen has extensive experience in arts education, currently serving as an Art Teacher at Hellenic Classical Charter School since September 2016. Julia also works as an Extended Day Leader and Art Teacher at Avenues: The World School, where responsibilities include leading after-school programs and instructing Art Specialty Classes. In addition, Julia has been a Secular Educator at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine and a Museum Educator at the American Folk Art Museum since 2010. Julia holds a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Museum Education from Bank Street College of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts from New York University.
