Andrew Gillum

Founder And Executive Director at Young Elected Officials Network

Andrew Gillum serves as the Mayor of Tallahassee, overseeing a city with a population of 186,000 and a budget of $813.6 million since February 2003. Gillum has led various community initiatives, including the Family First Agenda, which focuses on creating supportive environments for children and families. In addition, Gillum is the National Director of Youth Leadership Programs at People For the American Way and the Founder and Executive Director of the Young Elected Officials Network, where Andrew manages outreach and recruitment efforts for young elected officials. Previous roles included State Director for the "Arrive with Five" Voting Campaign and State Political Director for the Florida Democratic Party. Educational achievements include a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and English from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, and attendance at both the Harvard Kennedy School and the Rockwood Leadership Institute.
