David Weir is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in various roles, currently serving as a Professor and Visiting Professor at York St John University and Hull University Business School since 2014. In addition to academic roles, Weir holds the position of Chairman at Fourth Paradigm Consulting Ltd, focusing on consulting solutions in strategic performance across the MENA region. Weir also contributes as Chair of the Editorial Advisory Board for Cambridge Scholars and provides advisory services to Emerald on publishing developments. With a background in leadership and enterprise as Head of the School of Business at University Campus Suffolk, as well as prior affiliations with ESC Rennes and City University, Weir has a robust history in supervising doctoral research and developing scholarly work in leadership and intercultural management. The educational foundation includes a Master's Degree in Public and Social Administration and an MA in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Oxford.
