Robert Newport currently serves as a Trustee for York Museums Trust, a position held since January 2024. Prior to this, Robert worked at Nestlé from March 2013 to May 2016, where responsibilities included leading the multiple convenience sales team and managing the Nestlé confectionery account with Tesco. Robert's career at Nestlé UK spanned from September 2000 to March 2013, encompassing various account management roles with key retailers such as Tesco, ASDA, and Morrisons. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Nottingham and a Management Accountant designation from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
