Giulia Gallio has extensive experience in archaeology, currently serving as Collections & Archives Manager at York Archaeological Trust since May 2014. Prior roles at the same organization include Project Archaeologist, Archive and Collections Assistant, and Interactive Front of House Assistant. Simultaneously, Giulia has worked as an Osteoarchaeologist for the Kani Shaie Archaeological Project since May 2015. Giulia's field experience includes volunteer positions at several significant projects, including the Dhiban Excavation and Development Project and The Islamic Jarash Project, where responsibilities encompassed artefact management and field archaeology. Giulia holds a Master's Degree in Human Osteology and Funerary Archaeology from The University of Sheffield and a Bachelor's Degree in Classical, Ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern Studies and Archaeology from the University of Liverpool.
